Mind Body Dynamic is a specialist teaching business, led by Selina Sasse. Public Mindfulness for Daily Life and Integrated Yoga and Mindfulness (IYM) courses are run regularly. They can also be booked for private groups, one to one teaching, businesses and schools.
ABOUT THE TEACHER
Selina Sasse teaches mindfulness courses to groups and individuals in London, Buckinghamshire and via Skype. She also provides mindfulness counsel to executives. Her mindfulness teaching is based on the eight-week structure of the MBCT (Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy) course. This is an ideal way to introduce mindfulness into daily life and gives a well-constructed, progressive and balanced introduction to the transformative impact relatively simple techniques can have.
Selina was actively involved in The Mindfulness Initiative, helping the Mindfulness All Party Parliamentary Group (MAPPG) carry out an inquiry into how mindfulness can be incorporated into UK services and institutions, with a particular insight into the criminal justice sector. She has developed initiatives for mindfulness coaching in the corporate and education sectors that draw on integrated mindfulness and somatic practices, for a more balanced perspective.
With a background of over twenty years in corporate communications and investor relations in the City of London, Selina is a mindfulness practitioner drawing on the techniques in her teaching and own daily life. This includes supporting the provision of yoga and meditation to prisoners through The Prison Phoenix Trust and as a mother to two boys. An accredited mindfulness practitioner, Selina gained extensive teaching practice of over 80 supervised hours as part of a 200 hour teacher training programme during the course of a year.
